Embroidery in the hoop project.  Student must pick up disc in advance and sheet of instructions.   Must have embroidery machine and working knowledge of their machine.  Hoop size needed is 5X7, 6X10 depending on size project you choose.  Additional items needed are:

• Cut Away Stabilizer
• Fabric (2 fat eights for border, back and lining)
• Other fabric scraps
• Batting
• Non-metal zipper
• Low-tack tape

Specific requirements are on disc for each size of pouch.

Lucky Penny Wallet

In this class we will make the Lucky Penny wallet. Pattern will be given at the time of class. This is a fun and easy wallet to make and you will want to make several. They also make great gifts.

Supplies Needed:

• Sewing machine in good working order
• Either dual feed machine or leather foot if your machine does not have dual feed
• Zipper Foot
• 9” nylon Zipper or larger (unless you buy pre-cut kit)
• Top and bobbin thread to match (or contrast) with cork fabric.
• Size 80/12 Microtex Sharp Needle
• Wonder Clips
• 12.5” x 25” piece of cork fabric OR purchase a precut kit including zipper for $15 at the class.​

Description:
​Use your decorative machine stitches to make stunningly textured fabric that you can use in home decor, clothing, accessories and wall art. Combine them with couching and hand embroidery to make unique works of art.  Pam will use Carol Ann Waugh's "Stupendous Stitching" to explore these techniques.
